Common Misunderstandings in Transformer Selection

1. As long as the product is made by a well-known brand manufacturer, it is definitely not a low-quality transformer

Due to reasons such as brand, technology and capital, brand-name manufacturers do have certain advantages in the industry competition. However, that is only for some products at voltage levels like 110KV and 220KV. Due to their high entry barriers, most small-scale distribution manufacturing enterprises simply do not have the strength to produce such products. However, for 10KV grade transformers, any transformer manufacturing enterprise can produce them. Moreover, some small manufacturers, due to factors such as technology, region, and after-sales service, to a certain extent, have more advantages than large enterprises.

2. As long as the price is low, it can be chosen

Good quality at a low price is indeed good, but there is also the view that "cheap things are of poor quality". Therefore, it is strongly advised that customers should not only consider the price when purchasing transformers. They should choose multiple manufacturers for comparison and make the final decision after a comprehensive analysis. Another suggestion is that it is best for customers to visit the product manufacturer in person to inspect the products, production processes, and factory inspection procedures, etc. This can also give them a clear idea.

3. Be deceived by the manufacturer's verbal promises

Some, in order to attract customers, make promises such as "lifetime maintenance", "one-year replacement guarantee", and "absolutely all-copper" during negotiations. However, when purchasing the products, these promises are not written in the contract, resulting in the manufacturer not admitting the problems when the products have issues. Therefore, every promise must be written in writing. Only in this way can the interests of customers be maintained to the greatest extent possible.
