Following the passing of Dr. Sam Nujoma, Father of the Nation and founding President of Namibia, Mr. Chen Jinkui, Chairman of Jiangsu Tianli Electro-Mechanical Co., Ltd., led a delegation to the Embassy of Namibia in Beijing on February 21, 2025. They expressed deepest condolences for the loss of President Nujoma and extended sincere sympathies to the Namibian government, its people, and the bereaved family.
In the solemn atmosphere of the embassy, Chairman Chen penned a tribute in the memorial book. He honored President Nujoma's extraordinary contributions to Namibia's national independence, development, and international cooperation, hailing him as "a revered leader who laid the cornerstone for Namibia's progress."
After the memorial ceremony, Chairman Chen held a heartfelt meeting with H.E. Mr. Eli George Kaiyamo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Namibia to China, and Mr. Freddie Gaoseb, Commercial Counsellor. He reaffirmed Jiangsu Tianli Electro-Mechanical's commitment to the Namibian market, stating the company's readiness to deepen practical cooperation in energy infrastructure and power technology innovation-building upon the friendly relations pioneered by President Nujoma-to advance bilateral economic ties.
Ambassador Kaiyamo expressed gratitude for Chairman Chen's visit. He warmly welcomed Jiangsu Tianli Electro-Mechanical's collaboration with Namibia's AVS Africa and pledged embassy support for the company's participation in national power projects. The Ambassador assured full facilitation for future cooperation.
