The KYN28 series indoor AC metal-enclosed medium-voltage switchgear is suitable for three-phase AC systems with a rated voltage of 12kV and a rated frequency of 50Hz. It is used for receiving and distributing electrical energy and controlling, protecting and monitoring circuits. This product complies with the requirements of GB3906 "3~35kV AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear", GB/T11022 "Common Technical Requirements for High-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear", IEC60298, IEC62271-200 "AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear and Controlgear for Rated Voltages above 1kV and up to 52kV", and DL/T404 "Technical Conditions for Ordering Indoor AC High-voltage Switchgear".

Normal Service Conditions

● Ambient temperature: Maximum temperature +40°C, minimum temperature -15°C (with special processes, it can reach -45°C);

● Ambient humidity: Daily average ≤ 95%, monthly average ≤ 90%; altitude not exceeding 2500m (with special processes, it can reach 4000m);

● Seismic resistance: Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees;

● The surrounding air should not contain corrosive or flammable gases, water vapor or other obvious pollutants; there should be no severe pollution or frequent violent vibrations. The severity of design under harsh conditions meets Class 1 requirements;

● Note: When the normal service conditions are exceeded, users can negotiate with the manufacturer to determine.

Structural Features

The switchgear is designed in accordance with GB3906-2012 and IEC62271-200:2012 for armored metal-enclosed switchgear. It is composed of two major parts: the cabinet and the withdrawable component (i.e., the handcart) (see Figure 1). The cabinet is divided into four separate compartments, with an enclosure protection level of IP4X. When the doors of each compartment and the circuit breaker compartment are open, the protection level is IP2X. It features overhead incoming and outgoing lines, cable incoming and outgoing lines, and other functional schemes. After arrangement and combination, it forms a complete set of distribution system equipment. This switchgear can be installed, debugged, and maintained from the front, thus allowing it to be installed back-to-back, in double rows, or against a wall, enhancing the safety and flexibility of the switchgear and reducing the floor space.
