High and low voltage switch cabinets are mainly electrical equipment with circuit breakers as the main components. According to the requirements of the main electrical wiring diagram, the manufacturer assembles relevant high and low voltage electrical appliances (including control electrical appliances, maintenance electrical appliances, and measuring electrical appliances) and busbars, current-carrying conductors, insulators, etc. As a device for receiving and distributing electrical energy in the power system. High and low voltage switchgear, also known as high voltage switchgear, plays a role of switching, operation or maintenance in power generation, transmission, distribution, power conversion and consumption in the power system. Electrical products with voltage levels ranging from 3.6 kilovolts to 550 kilovolts mainly include high-voltage circuit breakers, high-voltage isolation disconnection switches, high-voltage load switches, high-voltage automatic reclosing and sectioning devices, high-voltage operating mechanisms, high-voltage explosion-proof distribution equipment, and high-voltage switch cabinets, etc. The high and low voltage switchgear has a wide cabinet body, large internal space, reasonable drainage, safety, convenient maintenance and reliable equipment operation. The main circuit scheme is complete and can meet the requirements of various power supply and distribution systems. It has five functions to avoid misoperation:

1. Avoid load separation and disconnection.

2. Avoid entering electrified areas by mistake.

3. Avoid misoperation and circuit breakers.

4. Avoid live grounding wires.

5. Avoid sealing with grounding wires.

 

The components of high and low voltage switchgear mainly include circuit breakers, disconnectors, load switches, operating mechanisms, transformers and various maintenance equipment. The main function of a switch cabinet is to open and close, so as to operate and maintain electrical equipment during power generation, transmission, distribution and power conversion in the power system.

 

The structural features of high and low voltage switch cabinets are as follows:

1. The entire cabinet adopts a modular assembly structure with modular hole equipment. The components have strong universality, good applicability and a high degree of standardization.

2. The upper part of the cabinet is the busbar room, the front part is the electrical room, and the rear part is the cable inlet and outlet room. The rooms are separated by steel plates or insulating boards to ensure safety.

3. The door of the drawer compartment of the molded case cabinet is mechanically interlocked with the operating handle of the circuit breaker or disconnector. The door can only be opened when the handle is in the disconnected position.

4. The power receiving switch, contact switch and the drawer of the plastic shell cabinet have three directions: open direction, test direction and closed direction.

5. The top of the switch cabinet can be equipped with a busbar bridge according to the power demand.
