Integral Unit Substation

Huashi box-type substation, generally abbreviated as Huashi substation, is a localized prefabricated substation that is different from both American and European box-type substations. It combines the compactness of American box-type substations and the automation configuration capability of European box-type substations, forming a unique type of box-type substation. It features safety, reliability, convenience, and environmental friendliness. It is particularly suitable for use in wind power projects.

It occupies less space. Unlike the European-style box transformer, the Chinese-style box transformer eliminates the transformer room, making its overall floor area even smaller than that of the European-style box transformer. The incoming and outgoing line structure of the transformer saves a large amount of copper, thus reducing the overall cost of the machine and lowering the investment for users.

Safer operation. The connection between the high-voltage switch and the transformer is made with busbars, which largely solves the operational safety issues caused by cable connections.

Split structure. The isolation knife, arc extinguishing chamber, and fuse of the high-voltage switch are placed in separate compartments, solving the problem of having to shut down the entire line when replacing the fuse or arc extinguishing chamber in a general switch, and truly achieving the performance of single-unit maintenance without shutting down other fans.

The Chinese-style box transformer borrows the advantages of the American-style transformer. The heat sinks on the transformer are installed in an open manner, achieving complete natural ventilation and saving a significant amount of energy loss. At the same time, it eliminates the defect of over-temperature tripping caused by unreliable fan performance due to forced ventilation. It also ensures that all live parts are sealed within the box transformer, and incidentally solves the dust-proof problem, achieving multiple benefits at once.

1. Huashi box-type substation is compact and miniaturized. The floor area of the same capacity product is only 58% of that of European box-type substation.
2. The main heat-generating component (oil-immersed transformer) in Huashi box-type substation is placed outdoors, while the rest of the electrical equipment is placed in a metal box with IP54 protection grade, eliminating the need for excessive heat dissipation equipment and saving costs.
3. Three options are available for the high-voltage unit: vacuum load switch-fuse combination, vacuum circuit breaker, or C-GIS.
4. It is equipped with a gas relay, providing light gas alarm and heavy gas protection, offering gas protection for the system.
5. It is rainproof, snowproof, dustproof, anti-corrosion, fully enclosed, and suitable for long-term outdoor use.
6. The entire station is intelligently designed, and the protection system adopts a substation microcomputer integrated automation device, enabling "four remote" functions.
7. It can undertake non-standard design and production of various capacities according to the requirements of the design institute, helping users save investment.
8. It can be used in high-altitude areas up to 3,500 meters.
