Modular Transformer

A combined transformer is a voltage transformation device that connects two or more single-phase transformers through the introduction of a neutral line.
The combined transformer (commonly known as an American-style box transformer), which adopts American technology, differs from the European-style box transformer in that the American-style box transformer integrates the transformer core, high-voltage load switch, protective fuse, and other equipment into a unified design, all enclosed in the same sealed oil tank. Therefore, it is compact in size, easy and flexible to install, and can be used both outdoors and indoors. It is widely applied in industrial parks, residential areas, commercial centers, schools, hospitals, and other places.
● Fully insulated, fully sealed, requiring little maintenance and ensuring personal safety;
● Compact structure, with a volume of only 1/3 to 1/5 of the same capacity European transformer and a low height;
● Can adopt a split-box structure to prevent oil contamination in the transformer tank;
● The high-voltage side adopts a dual fuse full-range protection, significantly reducing costs;
● Can be used in a ring network or at the terminal, and the cable head can be urgently plugged and unplugged under a 200A load current;
● The box body uses a honeycomb double-layer composite board, providing both insulation and heat dissipation functions; an electronic phase loss protector is installed on the low-voltage side, which can quickly break the main incoming switch when abnormal voltage occurs in the system.
● High-voltage side oil-immersed load switch or SF6 load switch, electrically upgradeable: laying the foundation for distribution network automation.
● Oil-immersed S13 or the more advanced S20 series transformers are adopted.
